Sam and TJ’s day was filled with gorgeous greenery, white backgrounds, neutral colors and a massive wedding party (more people, more fun!) Sam got ready in an airbnb in the city, and TJ got ready at their house to begin the day. The girls popped champagne and mom snuck around to see Sam almost ready and teared up. TJ’s dad helped him put his jacket on and got to pose with their pup before leaving for the ceremony. They had their ceremony at Five14 Church, where they decorated the white walled and perfectly lit entryway inside the church. Sam and TJ wanted a first kiss from behind from the officiants perspective, where I gave them some different shots of the guests in focus and the bride and groom in focus for variety. They kissed and walked back down the isle, outside to the side of the building where they celebrated alone for a moment to soak in all of what just happened! They did a few portraits and we went back inside, where we did a receiving line with all of their loved ones.
Their reception was in their families backyard, poolside with a massive tent for all of their guests. The cocktail hour included custom cocktails, mingling and signing of the hacky sack boards. The guests walked into the reception where their names were perfectly placed on champagne glasses to find their seats and table numbers. The party had only just began, where Sam and TJ celebrated their wedding night with loved ones, shared cake together, toasts, prayer, and ended the night sharing ice cream from Johnsons Ice Cream Truck!
