"When I first started looking for photographers for my wedding, it got overwhelming. Everyone locally with the style I liked was already filled that weekend or just wasn’t taking on that many weddings this summer. Low and behold what I didn’t know the magic that will become…one night I was scrolling and quickly tapping through Instagram stories and was like “Oh Noo!” And had to tap backwards to get to the ad that appeared in between stories. I instantly clicked on it and was amazed at the photos posted on Gabby’s profile that I started following her right away. I sent my now husband the link to her profile and he agreed (more of what you want, you can have). I was super nervous being we live in Washington, Gabby lives in Ohio but saw she loves to travel so I reached out to Gabby and told her our date and got us all on the books and scheduled. Gabby was absolutely amazing, she flew out to Washington for our engagement photos which happened to fall on earth day and we planned our photos for a state park which was packed and luckily the rain held off that day. She nailed everything we wanted, from locations, photo ideas, and is a hoot to talk to as we trekked all of the park. As we got closer to the wedding she was in constant communication with myself and some of my vendors, her help with a timeline was an absolute time saver and is a great service she offers (take her up on it if you have no clue). She flew back out to Washington, and shot the magic day…she made our day so special and made my husband and I, along with family and friends feel ever so comfortable on our day. Our photos are amazing and everything I wanted to cherish and remember our big day and celebration. Words can’t describe Gabby’s talent, kindness, making her clients feel comfortable, and just herself. When I told friends and family while talking about our wedding our photographer was from Ohio, they were in shock! I wasn’t! I was excited. On the wedding day itself, Gabby seamlessly blended into the background while still managing to capture every important moment. From the emotional first look to our vow exchange to the joyous celebration on the dance floor, the photos are a beautiful reflection of the day's emotions. The candid shots are particularly stunning, revealing genuine, unfiltered moments that we will cherish forever.
The post-production work exceeded our expectations. The color grading, composition, and attention to detail showcased Gabby's commitment to delivering a flawless product. She was also able to deliver the gallery ahead of when she said to expect it for both our engagement and wedding day photos! And her website makes it extremely easy to favorite and download our favorite moments. I think on a first time through the gallery, we must have favorited nearly every photo under our bride and groom portraits, they were all just so wonderful!
